CHILDREN AND ART

Children of all ages can enjoy the visual arts. From a young child's motor skill building to a teens emotional development, the arts can be used a highly effective teaching and coping tool. Without need to be an expert on all processes or buy the most expensive tools to introduce the arts to a child's life. Even simple product choices and child centered exploration can guide beginning artistic endeavors. Here are some points so that children have possibility to learn of art.

Simplicity may be the key for the beginning artist. Really it is not needed to buy the most expensive material or to a large extent to your child so that he be able to taste what is creativity as it might break your budget. Be sure your child does not need to have a rainbow of colors to start painting and even primary colors will do for him. Even in this way you let your child to explore mixing colors. Even for a lot of things it is not necessary to buy all new materials and I am sure in your house there will be a lot of materials that can be used into an art material, especially for sculpture and puppet making. Examples of materials that can be reused for art are newspapers, magazines, old books, cardboard boxes, old clothing, socks, fabric scraps or wire hangers. These are just examples.
But if still you hesitate what to buy it can be a good suggestion to meet art museums and children's museums may offer free art making activities and museum teachers will guide you and these activities can give a chance to the beginning artist to explore himself and supply fun for the whole family.
Art does not have to be expensive. By purchasing the basics, reusing what you already have, and looking for free family activities, parents can introduce their children to the world of the arts while staying on a budget. I hope in another post I will write about art therapy.

WHERE IS ART IN A FAMILY?

Art is the main part of what is called culture and in a world that in the Third Wave nations go to destruction and World Village wants to annihilate it, the main interface that people of the world use to know each other is the art and is used specially for cultural correspondences and confrontations and in other words the world war III is right now in progress and it is cultural battle. And although there is a kind of irony in what I say but I just want to say that now art and culture have both usages. Unfortunately now days as I see most of all just governmental approaches are met to distribution of art in countries and families on their selves do not pay much attention to what their children know of art even at the level of art history especially of their own nation and generally of the world. Let’s not forget that now-a-days nationality centered families begin to decrease and as the boundaries get lost the national art gets of less importance.

I also take into account that getting involved in art is not just a simple will but also needs some talent and more important than that it needs a lot of work and money spent for that but I am sure that it is really needed for families and if at least in a family it is talked about art and criticized, say the film that they watched last night or the concert they went last week and at least one of the members of the family has read about the basics of that art, around concept of beauty and techniques used in it.

I, myself like a lot to have musical instrument say guitar, violin or drums in my house and whenever I like to make some sound with it, although I don’t know using it that much well but whenever I get time I asked some points from my friends that play them.
